MEETING NOTICE

Minutes of January 2009
George Conover called the meeting to order with at 7:46 PM with 11 members present.
The minutes of November 11th were read. One correction as follows: Thom
Heins was appointed, not elected and to the post of Inboard Commissioner, not Inboard Director. With that
correction the minutes of 11/11/2008 were accepted. The Treasurer’s report was read and accepted
as read. Report on file.
Sad news, on November 17th Al
Huck passed away. Flowers were sent on behalf of WRBA and we received a very nice Thank You card from Mary
Ann Huck.
Our Christmas Party was held at the in at Sugar Hill in Mays Landing,
NJ on December 12th. Great company and food and our thanks to Mary Ann Conover for a great job
of putting it together. George Conover, Jr. received his keepsake plaque for Member of the Year, 2007.
Frank Beck and Tammy Hickerson received Member(s) of the Year, 2008.
Ann Fitzgerald has been asked by Mary Ann Murphy to do the WRBA Tote Bags again this year. Also
wants Ann to order Mugs that will be for sale.
NASCAR Spring 2010 Race…John Fitzgerald
is going to have raffle tickets printed.
Will have to ask Frank Beck, and his committee,
if they will be doing the Program Book again this year.
Lake Hopatcong Club
is having problems with personnel to help with their race. They call meetings and only a couple of people
show up. Another meeting tonight and hopefully more will go. The Lake Hopatcong race
in May is a definite go.
Tonight was to be elections of WRBA officers and new Trustees.
With only 11 members present Henry Wendt made a motion to hold our elections anyway. Janice Sutton
second the motion. All present in favor. Motion carried.
Henry Wendt nominated Dan Conover for Trustee for 2009, 2010, 2011 term.
Peggy Wendt nominated John Fitzgerald for Trustee for 2009, 2010, 2011 term.
Bill Densten nominated all who are officers now and to be elected again for 2009. All present in
favor.

Ann Fitzgerald printed up WRBA Daniel J. Murphy, Jr. Memorial Regatta Rack Cards to be handed out at the Motor Sports
Show in Atlantic City, NJ Convention Center on January 16 and 17 2009. George Conover will be taking his
Grand National hydro and Bob Zabady is bringing his K Boat for display.
With no
further business, old or new, Dan Conover made a motion to adjourn and Mary Ann Conover second the motion. Motion
carried. Adjourned at 8:50 PM.
