MEETING NOTICE

PLACE: WHEATON BILLAGE CRAFT BUILDING

MILLVILLE, NEW JERSEY

April 14, 2009

TIME 7:30 PM

Minutes of March 10, 2009

    

     George Conover called the meeting to order at 7:43 PM with 14 members present.  The minutes of February 10th were read and accepted as read.  The Treasurer’s report was read and accepted as read.  Report on file.


    
A welcome to Alex Stevens, a new member who attended tonight’s meeting.


    
Henry Wendt had an operation on his eye lid and was unable to attend tonight’s meeting.  He is doing well.


    
George had entered our club for APBA Grant consideration and should hear very soon of decision.


    
Budget Lodge in Buena, NJ has underwent renovation and George and Mary Ann stopped in to get rates for our race.  Looks very promising.


    
Frank Beck was asked about the Program Books.  He has printed up an advertising sales form and asked all present at meeting to try and sell ads.  Janice Sutton will be sending them out with minutes now until the race.


    
John Fitzgerald had the raffle tickets.  Janice Sutton will be sending them out (2 books per member) with the minutes.  If you cannot sell these, it is very important that you return them as soon as possible to:

If you sell them please send stubs and money to Karen also at above address.

     MaryAnn Murphy has ordered and is paying for 60 Tote Bags for Driver’s Grab Bags this year.  Since the bags are $9.00 each and we need an additional 10 bags, Warren Brown made a motion for WRBA to pay for the 10 additional bags.  Bill Densten second the motion.  All members present in favor.  Motion carried.

    

Warren Brown also asked if we could give Bill Pierce, Lake Hopatcong Race Chairman, a boat count for this regatta on May 16 and 17.


    
With no further business, old or new, John Fitzgerald made a motion to adjourn and MaryAnn Conover second the motion.  Adjourned 8:15 PM.
